Description

If you’re in Devon to see a spectacular sunset, look no further. Sunset View, as you’ve probably already guessed, will offer you some stunning sunsets, looking out over the moors you can watch the sky go from blue to orange and almost every colour in between.

This field is a favourite of ours and we are sure you will love it too. What could be better than relaxing in nature and watching the sunset with a glass of something cold, seeing in the evening next to a crackling outdoor fire?

Dogs are welcome in Sunset View –  however, we are a working farm so we do ask that dogs are kept on leads throughout your stay. The maximum number of dogs per pitch is 4, speak to Richard AKA Farmer Dick ,who will happily show you our secure dog exercise area, where your furry companions can run off-lead.

Description

Not into camping? Why not try glamping? Nestled in our Willow Wood, we have three wonderful glamping pods, each sleeping two people. Nicknamed ‘Posh Bedz in Shedz’, our miniature woodland cabins are our own take on the traditional Shepherd’s hut (only, without wheels)  and offer a cosy, comfortable alternative to traditional camping whilst still being back to nature.

Each shed is equipped with a luxurious king size bed (which can be separated to two singles if necessary), solar-powered USB charging points for mobile phones ONLY (no 12volt fridges to be used as the system will not take it, and yes, this has been tried and tested). Cooking equipment –  including a Kampa 2 ring gas stove and grill, a torch, as well as Tea, Coffee and Sugar for that all important early morning cuppa. Outside, you’ll find your very own fire pit – perfect to huddle around on a starry night under a blanket if it proves to be a chillier one.  Your own private toilet to your Posh Bedz in Shedz, and two showers which are shared with our two other glamping cabins on site.

Wheelbarrow for transporting equipment

Description

Our wild camping area is set in ‘Mystery Woods’ where you can relax in the peaceful surroundings of the magical whispering trees. Here you can chill-out around your camp fire until its tranquil flames have truly relaxed you.

Tent camping can be a great activity for families, but it’s also an ideal way for couples and friends to spend quality time together.

There is no access to the woods with vehicles. You will be parking your car a short distance away from your tent, and transferring your camping equipment to your pitch via a wheelbarrow we provide, or, as a real wild camper would, on your back. With ‘Wild Camping’ this is just one of the many experiences to enjoy!

The maximum number of people allowed per tent pitch is 6. We allow one medium tent per pitch, or two small one-room tents per pitch.

SUITABLE FOR: wild camping in tents.
